Privacy Policy
Your family's photos stay with you. How Baby Smile Cam uses the camera, saves photos, and handles support requests.

Baby Smile Cam is provided by Tea Kupradze / ForYou Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It helps parents and caregivers capture photos during supervised photo sessions using playful characters, animations, and sounds. This policy applies to the Baby Smile Cam iOS app and explains what information is used, how it is handled, and your choices.
Camera and photos
Baby Smile Cam uses the camera to show a live preview and take photos when you choose to capture them. Camera images and captured photos are processed on your device. We do not upload, receive, or store your camera feed or photos on our servers, and we do not use them for advertising, facial recognition, identification, or AI model training.
On compatible Duo devices, the outer-display feature shows the selected playful character animation while you control the camera. Playing animations and sounds does not send your photos to us. Sounds play locally; the app does not record audio or request microphone access.
Camera and photo permissions
- Camera: used for the live camera preview and capturing photos.
- Photos — add only: used to save photos you capture to your photo library. The app does not request full photo-library access or browse your existing photos.
You can decline permission or change it at any time in iOS Settings under Baby Smile Cam or Privacy & Security. Denying camera access prevents the live camera and capture features from working. Denying Photos permission prevents saving photos to your library. Revoking permission stops future access; it does not delete photos you already saved.
Data collection, analytics, and advertising
Baby Smile Cam does not require an account and does not collect personal information from your use of its camera, animations, or sounds. It does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, use tracking technologies, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Information you voluntarily send by email for support is handled separately as described below.
Information you send for support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or device details you choose to send. We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, and handle your request. Please avoid sending photos of children or other sensitive information unless necessary for your request. Our email provider processes support messages for delivery and storage. We do not use support messages for advertising.
Apple services and sharing
Apple provides camera permissions, Photos storage, and any iCloud Photos or device-backup services you enable. These services follow your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. Saving a photo to Photos may allow Apple to sync it through iCloud Photos if you have enabled that feature; this is controlled by your Apple settings, not a Baby Smile Cam upload to our servers.
Apple may provide app statistics or crash reports according to your device’s analytics-sharing settings. We use any such reports only to understand app reliability and fix problems. We do not share your camera feed or photos with third parties. We may disclose support information when required by law or to protect legal rights.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Photos saved by Baby Smile Cam remain in your device’s Photos library until you delete them there. Deleting Baby Smile Cam does not remove photos already saved to Photos. To permanently remove a photo, delete it in Photos and, where applicable, remove it from Recently Deleted. Copies in iCloud Photos, shared albums, or backups are managed through your Apple account and the relevant services.
Deleting the app using iOS Delete App removes its local app data; offloading may retain app data. We cannot access, retrieve, or delete photos stored only on your device or in your Apple account.
Support messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal obligations, then deleted. You can request deletion of support information by emailing us at the address below.
Children’s privacy
Baby Smile Cam is designed for parents and caregivers to operate during supervised photo sessions. Photos may include babies and children, but those images stay on the device and are not collected by us. We do not ask children to create accounts, submit personal information, or communicate with other users through the app. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Your choices and privacy requests
You control camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings, sound playback in the app, saved photos in Photos, and any iCloud or backup settings through Apple. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information we hold, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact us for requests about support information; we may need to verify your request. We do not hold a server copy of your photos.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for support information in our care. The security of photos on your device depends on your passcode, system updates, and Apple account and backup settings. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
