Privacy Policy
How Duo Teleprompter handles local scripts and recordings, camera and microphone permissions, Firebase Analytics, purchases, and support information.

Duo Teleprompter is provided by Tea Kupradze / ForYou Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains the information used by the app, why it is used, who processes it, and the choices available to you.
Your scripts, projects and recordings
Scripts you write or import, your projects, recorded video and audio takes, and reading preferences are stored and processed on your device. We do not upload your script text, imported documents, camera footage, microphone audio, or saved recordings to our servers or to Firebase Analytics. The app does not provide cloud synchronization of this content.
When you choose to export or share a file, the destination app or service handles that copy under its own terms and privacy policy. Local app content may also be included in device or iCloud backups depending on your Apple settings; this is separate from an app-operated cloud service.
Camera, microphone and file permissions
- Camera: used when you enable the camera to preview or record video while reading your script.
- Microphone: used to include your voice and other audio in a recording.
- Files: when you import a script, the app reads the text file you select through the system file picker.
- Photos: if you choose an export feature that saves a recording to Photos, any required permission is requested for that action.
You can decline or revoke protected-resource permissions in iOS Settings. The related camera, audio, or save feature may then be unavailable. Importing a document does not give us remote access to your files.
Google Analytics for Firebase
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and improve the experience. Analytics data is sent to Google and is separate from your locally stored scripts and recordings.
Depending on SDK settings and permissions, analytics may include app interactions and sessions, app version, device model, operating system, language, approximate region, and app-instance or device identifiers. This data helps us understand which features are used. Analytics identifiers are not necessarily anonymous. Your script text, imported file contents, and recorded video or audio are not included.
Google processes analytics information under its applicable terms and privacy policies, potentially outside your country. See Firebase privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
Duo Teleprompter Pro purchases
Apple processes subscriptions through the App Store. We do not receive your payment-card details. The app uses Apple-provided transaction and subscription-status information to validate purchases, recognize your subscription, and unlock Pro features. Apple retains billing records under its own policies. Read the subscription terms for prices, renewal and cancellation information.
Support information
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments or diagnostic details you choose to provide. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot. Please avoid sending private scripts or recordings unless necessary to explain the issue. Our email provider processes messages for delivery and storage.
Sharing and service providers
We use Google for app analytics, Apple for distribution, payments, and system services, and our email provider for support. We do not sell your personal information or share your scripts or recordings with advertisers. Information may be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Apple’s handling of purchases, backups and system services is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Your local content stays on your device until you remove it or delete the app with its data; offloading may retain app data. Files exported to Photos, Files, other apps, or backups remain there and must be deleted separately, including from Recently Deleted where applicable. We cannot access or erase content stored only on your phone.
Analytics records are retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings; aggregated reports may remain longer. Deleting the app does not automatically erase analytics records already sent to Google. See Google’s data retention information. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information we hold.
Your choices and privacy rights
You control camera and microphone access, which files you import, what you share, and the local content you keep. You can manage device backups through Apple settings. Apple’s tracking permission controls are separate from general app analytics and do not necessarily disable Firebase Analytics.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to exercise these rights or ask about analytics collection. We may need information sufficient to verify and locate your request; please do not send sensitive content for this purpose.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for information in our care. Local data security also depends on your device passcode, operating-system updates, and backup settings. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Duo Teleprompter is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
